About the Accuplacer - A Computerized Placement Test
The Accuplacer is given on the computer and covers reading, writing, math, and an essay. Pencils, paper, and a 4-function calculator will be provided. Scores will be generated at the conclusion of the test.

Testing services are available by appointment only. Call Testing at 903.923.3227 to schedule an Accuplacer.

  • Testing Available: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays
  • 8:30 AM and 1:30 PM
  • $30 for the entire test or for individual portions
  • Bring receipt of payment and one form of identification, preferably a Driver’s License
  • If you require test accommodations due to a documented disability, please contact the testing center for information concerning your needs.

Other instruments are offered that provide information and guidance in academic and career areas and help in understanding personal strengths and weaknesses.

Many Texas schools participate in TBECAchieveTexas Kuder Assessments. Encourage your student to explore their career options by understanding their skills, interests and values. If your school does not participate, talk with your TSTC recruiting office about TSTC providing assessment codes for your students.
