The Testing Office is located in the Admissions Building (Room 151).
   Office Hours:
Monday - Friday
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Testing will be held in the Admissions Building, room 156.  

The Testing Center is open for testing Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Testing times are 8:30 AM and 1:30 PM.

Seating is limited - appointments are required for all types of tests.

Accuplacer (CPT) - Fee: $30

As you begin planning for college, you will need to take the Accuplacer Test if you are not exempt by other means (See Test Exemptions). The Accuplacer is a placement test to assess your abilities in reading, writing, and math. This test typically takes 2-3 hours to complete. Since it helps us to assess your current level of learning, all students are required to take the Accuplacer Test during the admission process and prior to registration, or provide alternate test scores such as Compass and Asset. 

Other Tests

Ability to Benefit (ATB) - Fee: $30

ATB is administered to students wishing to enroll in the College, but have not completed their high school diploma or GED. The test is administered through the Accuplacer platform, and is computer based.

*After the initial test, a two-week waiting period is required to retest.

KUDER - Fee: Free

Are you confused on what you want to study? Kuder assessments are the answer for you. Kuder assessments allows students to learn about themselves, explore various career options and discover how these options relate to their interests, skills, and work values. If you are interested in taking a KUDER assessment, please schedule a time with our Testing Office. The average time to take the Kuder assements is about 30 minutes.

Proctoring - Fee: Free

Students who need a test proctored and are not enrolled at TSTC Marshall need to reserve a seat by calling 903.923.3227.
