Our department has a combined total experience of more than 50 years teaching experience and more than 50 years in the business and industry experience to the classrooms and laboratories. We maintain close ties to colleagues in the business community to guarantee realistic projects for you and they regularly modify curriculum to reflect industry standards.
Graduates with an Associate of Applied Science degree or a Certificate of Completion enter the work force with the capabilities of installing and servicing air-conditioning systems, replacing refrigerant, operating specialized tools, and designing, sizing and fabricating duct systems. Prior to graduation, it is recommendation for you to obtain a certification by the Federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) - Federal Clean Air Act Section 608 / 410A Refrigerant through a course and examination provided to HVAC students through the Adult Continuing Education Department in order to HVAC industry requirements for immediate employment.
