Counseling, Disabilities and Health Services
Welcome to Texas State Technical College and congratulations on your decision to change the rest of your life. We thank you for your interest in TSTC. We look forward to helping make your College experience a rewarding one.
The Counseling, Disabilities and Health Services supports the success of our students by providing counselors and staff who are eager to assist students with their personal, education and career concerns. Our counselors offer a wide range of student services, including counseling, critical thinking workshops, outreach programs, referrals and crisis services. In addition, our Disabilities Program also offers classroom accommodations for students with disabilities.
College life can be challenging and at times stressful. Students often experience difficulties adjusting to college, confusion in deciding on a major or career path, or many face struggles in relationships. Many students feel anxious or overwhelmed at some point during their college experience and need help dealing with feelings and problems that seem beyond their control.
The Counseling and Disabilities Office is committed to providing students a comfortable and caring educational community where academic success, personal growth, and social responsibility are valued.
Our goal is to provide an open, supportive, and confidential environment for students to address the issues that concern them. We are confident that we can and will continue to help address the academic needs and challenges of our students. We are here to help all students reach their education and personal goals.
You are not alone in your mission. We are here to help you.
