The TSTC Foundation Board Elects New Members and Executive Officers

(Waco)— The TSTC Foundation Board elected new members for the fiscal year beginning 2013. The executive officers are president Virgil Moore III, Breckenridge Economic Development Corp.; past president Curtis Cleveland, Central Texas Iron Works of Waco; vice president Keith Honey, American Electric Power of Longview; secretary Rene Capistran, SpawGlass of Harlingen; and treasurer Dr. Harold Rafuse of Waco.
Also serving on The TSTC Foundation board are Dr. Elton E. Stuckly, Jr., president of Texas State Technical College Waco; Frank Espinoza, American Electric Power-Texas of San Benito; Gregg Dodds, Texas Bank of Brownwood; and Brian Green, Cypress Street Station of Abilene.
“We are fortunate to have on our board business leaders from throughout the state, which will strengthen the already strong bond between TSTC and business and industry,” said president of the board, Virgil Moore III.
“The entire TSTC team extends our gratitude to the community leaders who are serving on The TSTC Foundation board and building relationships across the state that support TSTC’s students, its career programs, faculty, and staff,” said Mike Reeser, TSTC chancellor. “Thanks to The Foundation, our students can have their critical needs met, and the colleges’ ability to provide new and emerging technical programs to support the Texas workforce is enhanced, ” added Reeser.
