Welcome to the Supplemental Instruction & Tutoring Program!

Mission Statement

The mission of our Tutoring Program is to empower students academically through supplemental instruction, tutoring, and different learning strategies in order to strengthen their learning and critical thinking skills so they can attain their graduation and career goals.

About Us

Our Tutoring Program utilizes the Supplemental Instruction model (modified for TSTC) and AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) learning strategies to help students achieve their academic goals. Traditionally, *eer utors must have earned an "A" in the subject area they will tutor, have a Cumulative 3.0 GPA, and maintain a 3.0 Term GPA every semester. Peer Tutors also participate in different types of training every semester, which is designed to equip them with the tools they need to better assist their peers.

Please visit the sites below to access information on our tutoring schedule, MyTSTC Video Library, Peer Tutor employment, additional tutoring resources, and other useful information.
