Who we are and what we do

Physical Plant is responsible for continuing maintenance and operation of college buildings, grounds and automotive equipment. We are also responsible for construction projects, building modifications, repair and renovation. We are a service-orientated department assigned to meet the day-to-day operational needs of the campus community

Physical Plant is made up of several departments:

  • Engineering
  • Building Maintenance
  • Custodial Services
  • Grounds Maintenance
  • Vehicle Maintenance

Management Team

ArnulfoArnulfo Garcia is the supervisor of the Roads and Grounds Department. He plans and develops procedures relating to the overall operation, maintenance, and control of grounds maintenance activities. He reports directly to the Director of Physical Plant and he supervises 7 staff members.



Joe Garcia is the Supervisor of Custodial Services. He reports directly to the Director of Physical Plant. He supervises 25 custodial staff, and through them, responsible for the overall cleanliness of all college buildings.
