Emergency Tuition Loan Information
Funds are limited for Emergency Loans and are awarded on a "first come first served" basis. To apply, complete an application with Financial Aid Department. Applications typically are available approximately one month before the start of the semester. (If currently enrolled, the Emergency Loan is issued only after grades are posted.)
Once approved, the Emergency Tuition Loan protects a student's classes for that semester. If a student decides to not attend, the student must drop/withdraw with the office of the Registrar. Changes will apply for classes dropped on or after the first day of the semester/course.
A student who fails to make full payment of tuition and fees, including any incidental fees, by the due date may be prohibited from registering for classes until full payment is made. A student who fails to make payment prior to the end of the semester may be denied credit for the work done that semester.
If amount is not paid in full and on time, the student is responsible for any and all costs of collections incurred by TSTC's collection agency to include any attorney fees, as permitted by state statute, that are incurred for the collection of the amount due.
