Student Wellness Program
The TSTC Student Wellness Program, coordinated by the Office of Student Life is designed to help students lead balanced, healthy lifestyles, At TSTC, we view wellness as "holistic," so we developed a program comprised of six dimensions, all of which encourage students to make positive steps toward wellness.
The Student Life Department encourages student involvement through participation in student activities, community service, membership in campus organizations and leadership development. Student Life organizes social events throughout the academic year:
TSTC Student Development seeks to enhance students’ abilities to use higher order thinking skills to make informed decisions. Workshops on a diverse array of topics are offered year-round for students to attend free of charge. Examples of topics are:

The Wellness and Sports Center at TSTC has everything you need to become physically fit. Love playing sports? Form your own flag football, volleyball, and soccer or basketball team. Stop by the WSC for a complete list of sports offered. Facilities include a gym, weight room, cardio room, racquetball courts, group fitness classes and lockers and shower facilities.

“Commit to be Fit” is a rewards program designed to encourage you to work out! Just fill out the attached registration form and you’re on your way to earning cool TSTC prizes just for getting fit! Students earn one point for each 30-minute workout. Redeem points for free stuff, like koozies, water bottles, lanyards, t-shirts and much more!
The WSC hosts a "Wellness Walk" at the TSTC Athletic Field each month. Bring your friends and walk off all your stress! Prizes are awarded to the top finishers and groups with the most walkers.
Sign up in the Nurse’s office to receive a “Healthy Tip of the Week” directly to your student email account!
Become TSTC’s BIGGEST LOSER! Sign up with the Nurse or Student Government Association for TSTC’s own version of The Biggest Loser. Participants attend group meetings and weigh-ins and compete to see who loses the most weight and body mass index. Winners receive gift cards for healthy activities!
Stop by the Cafeteria and try a healthy menu item for breakfast and lunch. The Cafeteria also posts the nutritional content of their short-order menu to help you make healthier choices! Cafeteria’s hours of operation are:
