The office of Institutional Effectiveness (IE) is committed to providing accurate and timely information which supports comprehensive institutional planning, policy formation and decision making, as well as providing support for assessment and evaluation of activities throughout the College. It is the responsibility of the IE office to support and insure that evaluation results are used to improve programs, administrative support services, and educational support services. Areas responsible for continuous performance improvement.
The Board of Regents of TSTC, in conjunction with the College’s administration, management, staff and faculty, are dedicated to offering quality academic courses and technical programs to the student population. The college is dedicated to the principles of Institutional Effectiveness, and views this process as a means to ensure that opportunities to improve performances are on-going. The following chart demonstrates the extensive scope of the process and the use of data based on the planning process.
Institutional Effectiveness (IE) as practiced at TSTC Marshall is a collaborative, organization and community-wide endeavor. All academic courses, technical programs and support staff work together to improve organizational performance. The college recognizes that if performance and processes are to be effectively improved, collaboration and coordination are critical keys to success.
