Planning and Performance
TSTC has developed an Institutional Effectiveness Cycle based on the Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA) model of quality management pioneer Dr. W. Edwards Deming (1993). This model presents a continuous cycle of planning, implementation, evaluation, and responsive actions to improve processes.
Performance data from enterprise software systems, institutional surveys, and other data sources provide feedback to the college and its departments on improvement initiatives and their effectiveness. Our goals consolidate data from several other reports and surveys and organizes them around the key measures of the TSTC Marshall Strategic Plan. Updates are made daily through the datawarehouse to provide business intelligence for departmental managers as they make decisions.
