Longview Businessman Sworn in to TSTC Board of Regents
Keith Honey, a Longview businessman and former secretary of the TSTC Foundation Board was sworn in as a new Regent on the TSTC Marshall campus on November 19.

Golf Tournament Raises $13,500 for Scholarships
Texas State Technical College accepted a check from the Clay Aaron Cantrelle Memorial Golf Tournament for $13,500 to use towards the Clay Aaron Cantrelle Scholarship. This tournament was the third annual to be held and has raised approximately $35,000 total. [Read More]
Red Oak ISD Approves TSTC Land Grant
The Red Oak ISD Board of Trustees unanimously voted on Nov. 18 to approve the deeding of 29.5 acres of land to Texas State Technical College to construct an extensive technical education campus. The initial phase of construction includes a $10 million technical education facility with future growth and expansion in the years to come. Located just behind Red Oak High School, the facility is set to break ground in early 2014, offering career training to all school districts in the region. [Read More]
New Progress on TSTC North Texas
The TSTC North Texas extension center is showing signs of growth! More than 200 boxes full of tables and chairs were delivered to the facility. The North Texas team - plus the Red Oak ISD Police Chief and one of his officers - rolled up their sleeves to help unload the truck.

December 2013 Student Activities Spotlight
Residence Life recently held their end of the semester meeting which was mandatory. Some of the items discussed were the move out date and move in date for spring 2014. Residents were also informed of the winter break procedures, contracts, extensions to stay during the break and room checks before leaving for the break. Door prizes and refreshments were served afterwards.
