4th Grade Tech Camp

Tutors Get Certified

Three tutors in the Learning Success Center (Frank Rodriguez, Mara Hartsell, and Isaac Orao) have received certificates for meeting the ITTPC Level 1 Tutor Training requirements. The ITTPC, which stands for International Tutor Training Program Certification, is part of the College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA), a group of student-oriented professionals active in the fields of reading, learning assistance, developmental education, tutoring, and mentoring at the college/adult level. To meet certification requirements, the tutors must receive ten hours of training in preapproved topics and have 25 hours of tutoring experience.
