If you are not satisfied with your performance, you may retake the TSI Assessment at any time. Before you attempt to retest, it is strongly recommended that you set aside time for additional study. NOTE: TESTING FEES ARE REQUIRED TO BE PAID EACH TIME TESTED
Students who did not achieve passing scores to complete TSI standards may also have the choice of enrolling in one of the foundational options below:
Developmental Course (READ/INRW/DMTH) – A regular semester long course. Each class is designed to help the student pass to the next remedial level or needed academic course. The lecture/lab hours vary by course, which may range from 2 - 4 hours.
Non-Course Based Option (NCBO) - Developmental education interventions that use innovative learning approaches that more effectively and efficiently prepare students for college-level work. These interventions must be overseen by an instructor of record and must not fit traditional course frameworks for contact hours.
Combination Courses (NCBM 0060/MATH 1314, NCBM 005x/ MATH 1332 & INRW 0200/ENGL 1301) - Each academic course is paired with a required lab component and allows students to get the full benefit of each class, but still finish TSI requirements in one semester.
Integrated READ/WRIT (INRW) - Reading and Writing skills are combined into one class.
