New Student Orientation (NSO) is required for all incoming students. Students will learn about Texas State Technical College, classes and so much more. It is an opportunity to explore academics, campus life, and begin developing important relationships with faculty, staff, and students. Where can I get a copy of my class schedule?
You will receive a printout of your class schedule when you register. At Orientation, you can access your schedule at any time via WebAdvisor.
Will I need to buy books at Orientation?
Students should have ordered and reserved their books prior to Orientation in order to receive their books on time. We do not recommend waiting until Orientation to order your books because you will not have your books by the first class day.
Do I need to register for classes before attending Orientation?
No, it is not required for a student to register for classes before attending Orientation. Although, students are encouraged to register for classes as soon as possible. Some programs may reach their max capacity early on. The earlier you register, the better the odds of getting the schedule you need or want.
