NOTE TO PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS: You will see some forms in the Financial Section referencing “TSTC Marshall”. Since TSTC North Texas is an “extension center” of TSTC Marshall, our two campuses share many functions. For example, the Marshall Finance Office processes all North Texas documentation. North Texas applicants can get assistance locally by calling Loren Moulton-Wilson at (972) 617-4727.

At Texas State Technical College, we think you’ll find our prices reasonable and extremely cost-effective. Even so, we are proud to offer our students potential financial aid from a variety of resources to help fund their education.

TSTC's philosophy is to provide financial assistance to students who would otherwise be unable to pursue a postsecondary education. However, it often takes the help of family, as well, to meet all the needs of the student’s education. Our financial aid staff is happy to assist students and parents with questions and concerns.

Texas State Technical College North Texas is an extension center, accredited through our relationships with TSTC Marshall, by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award Associate of Applied Science degrees and Certificates of Completion. If you find significant non-compliance with a requirement or standard related to accreditation, contact the Commission on Colleges at 1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, Georgia 30033-4097, 404-679-4500 or Website: http://www.sacscoc.org.

Please keep in mind that...

  • Not all students are eligible for grant assistance.
  • Your financial aid package may not meet all your needs.
  • Financial aid is not always available when each term begins. Students must consider deadlines, processing time and federally mandated waiting periods.
  • You must be complete in the Admission’s office before financial aid can be awarded.

You can expect TSTC’s financial aid professionals to always maintain exemplary standards of professional conduct in all aspects of carrying out his or her responsibilities. To find out more about the Code of Conduct for Institutional Financial Aid Professionals click here.
