Every day I see examples of how we are blending together as one Texas State Technical College family. The life-size tree that now hangs in the Industrial Technology Center in Waco has nearly 500 leaves on it representing one teammate sharing a KUDOS for a fellow TSTC colleague. It is a great representation of collaboration, teamwork, respect and excellence.
Thanks to the TSTC faculty and staff who participated in the fifth class of the TSTC Leadership Institute and headed up this culture-building, recognition project. As we merge to one statewide entity serving Texas, we will regularly update you on the great things going on at TSTC that bring our three operational goals to life.
In case you’ve forgotten, they are:
1) to make TSTC the perpetually-relevant, innovative, go-to, statewide technical education source from Texas,
2) to build a top-shelf fundraising capacity that provides consistent and meaningful financial resources; and
3) to make TSTC a great place to work.
Why not ask yourself, "What can I do today to make TSTC a great(er) place to work?"
