Graduates of the program can have career opportunities that offer a sense of responsibility, personal growth, achievement and financial reward.

Approximately 2 billion people worldwide rely on air travel each year thanks to qualified, licensed aviation maintenance technicians. Our graduates also work for air cargo pickup and delivery companies. TSTC Harlingen provides the only aviation maintenance program in the Valley that’s certified by the FAA. We would like to prepare you for a career that goes anywhere aircraft fly. A 43,000-square-foot facility houses our classrooms, laboratories, certified aircraft, piston and turbine engine run-up stations, electrical and hydraulic system trainers and much more.

We train students from a wide variety of backgrounds — from former military aircraft technicians to those who may have never even seen an airplane up close. Two years of excellent instruction combined with hands-on application and experience will prepare all students to enter the workforce with skill and confidence.

Career opportunities within the program vary between options and I encourage you to visit the program and find out which choice is right for you.
