Computer passion led to multi-task job
In first grade, when he played “Oregon Trail,” Mason Garza knew he wanted to work with computers some day. The passion continued to burn as he frequently checked out computers to take home.
“TSTC was created for a working class of students who want to focus on a career,” Garza said. “I am a firm believer that the best way to learn something is actually doing it and TSTC provided that experience for me.”
A student-to-teacher ratio of about 10 to one for individualized attention also attracted him to TSTC West Texas. “I met several great people – instructors and students – at TSTC, and we still stay in contact. I will always extend a big ‘thank you’ to those who helped me get to where I am.”
