Note: Should you receive your transcripts directly, they must be submitted to TSTC West Texas in the sealed envelope.
If you would like TSTC West Texas to consider any of your military training and/or course work for possible transfer credit, you must submit official military transcripts for evaluation. Military transcripts with ACE recommendations help expedite the process.
You must also provide your DD-214 Form. Copies of your DD-214 Form can be requested through your state Veterans Administration office or through the National Archive and Records Administration.
Step 3: Verify Your Benefits
Contact one of the designated TSTC West Texas representatives or your local Veterans Services Officer for more information on these programs.
Step 4: Apply for Financial Aid
Fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This aid can be for grants, loans, and/or work-study. You can receive financial aid in addition to your VA benefits.
Step 5: Apply for Scholarships

Career Placement Services - TSTC West Texas provides full career and job placement services such as:
College Level Examination Program (CLEP) - These exams test your knowledge in specific areas and may assist in turning on-the-job training into college credit. Official scores must be submitted for consideration.
DANTES "Credit-By-Exam" is a program that gives you the opportunity to demonstrate college-level achievement through a program of exams in undergraduate college courses.
