Associate of Applied Science - Nursing
Having your Associate Degree in Nursing and passing the NCLEX exam means you will be a Registered Nurse and part of a multi-disciplinary health-care team. This degree will offer you educational mobility to transition into a higher level of nursing education.
This Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) program is a transition program allowing Licensed Vocational Nursing (LVN) education and skills to be used as a “bridge” for educational mobility focused on those working towards becoming a Registered Nurse (RN). This program gives the LVN a pathway to achieve an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree and, after passing the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN), are licensed as a Registered Nurse. The ADN Application Packet outlines the program coursework, which includes pre-requisites to the Level I, Level II, and Level III courses, as well as, detailing all the requirements for packet submission.
