That's the commitment of the TSTC West Texas Associate Degree Nursing Program to you. Our program is developed to support LVN’s who wish to advance their careers by completing their ADN while balancing education, family, and other personal commitments. We understand your time constraints, and have developed a creative and flexible course of study to support student goals. Our goal is your success.

In the ADN Program, we focus on a holistic approach to nursing. The transition, from LVN to RN, means we provide educational components to allow the LVN to become integral in organizational leadership and a manager of patient care. A few of the courses offered include:

• Transition from Vocational to Professional Nursing
• Complex Concepts of Adult Health
• Care of Children and Families
• Management of Client Care - Leadership

Students participate in an active learning environment, led by faculty members who represent a wide variety of talents and experience in areas such as Obstetrics, Critical Care, Pediatrics, Nursing Education, and Surgery. All of our instructors hold Masters of Science in Nursing.
