Agriculture Technology Degrees & Certificates

TSTC West Texas is not currently accepting new students into the Agriculture Technology program. Please call 325.235.7300 for other program options that may be of interest to you. 


Agriculture Technology - Associate Degree

The Associates of Applied Science in Agricultural Technology generally takes five semesters. You will take all the courses the certificate includes, then move to more advanced studies in production and agri-buisness. Degree seeking students will have multiple opportunities to visit agricultural businesses. Upon graduation, students will have the skills they need to apply for jobs as Assistantant Ranch Managers, Service Technicians for GPS & GIS, Agricultural Lending Assistants, entry-level marketing positions for an agricultural product company or range management positions.


Agriculture Technology - Certificate II 

It takes approximately three semesters to complete the Agricultural Technology certificate. Upon earning the certificate, graduates will have the skills to apply for entry-level positions in ranching, farming, recreational wildlife, animal health technician or record keeping for an agricultural operation.
