Many auto collision technicians are retiring, placing our graduates in high demand. Coupled with the number of accidents on the road, and strict insurance claim requirements, the need for qualified repair technicians is even greater. Repairing damaged vehicles isn't the only career option anymore. In the Auto Collision Repair program, you can design and customize all kinds of vehicles. Hands-on ApproachHere at TSTC West Texas, you'll receive hands-on training in structural and cosmetic repair and in refinishing metal and plastic vehicle bodies. You'll learn skills such as:
FacilitiesOur labs and drive-in classrooms give you the look and feel of a collision repair facility. In our up-to-date computer labs, you'll practice computerized estimating and color retrieval. In the program's paint booths, you'll receive hands-on training in body shop paint processes. FacultyThe Auto Collision Repair faculty have years of industry experience. The intensive training you'll receive in the program will help you develop the skills you'll need to return damaged vehicles to the road. Plus, you'll be able to learn the professionalism required for success in the workplace. Course Options
Industry CertificationIn the Auto Collision Repair program, you'll express your creativity and technical skills in a variety of formats, demonstrating your own custom painting and customizing abilities. Some students receive certification through an industry-recognized computerized estimating program. All classes in the Auto Collision Repair Program are based on National Institute for Auto Service Excellence (ASE) and I-Car dedicated repair procedures. |
