Students in the TSTC Automotive Technology Program are trained to go to work as entry-level technicians at dealerships, independent repair shops, chain and specialty stores, as well as fleet operations. TSTC’s Star Power Prep
FacultyInstructors in the Automotive Technology program have extensive experience and knowledge of this field of study. TSTC knows the importance of having seasoned faculty and when it comes to getting you ready for the ever-changing Auto Industry, it’s our goal to give you the advantage of teachers who have inside knowledge of the industry demands and functions! Small class sizeAt TSTC, our Automotive Technology classes are interactive, intimate, and thorough. Instructors work one on one with students to ensure each person gets the individualized attention and help they need. We are proud to offer such a low student/teacher ratio to facilitate a personal learning environment. Hands-on learningYou’ll be putting your elbow grease to the test in this program! We make sure you have every opportunity to get your hands dirty with each piece of equipment you’ll use on the job before you ever leave the classroom. We want you to feel experienced and comfortable with the tools you’ll be working with in the industry. That’s why we teach you how to use things like: digital volt ohm meters, digital storage oscilloscopes, graphing digital multi-meters, five-gas exhaust analyzers and engine analyzers, automotive service information systems, brake lathes, drum and outside disc micrometers, computerized four-wheel alignment systems, hydraulic lifts and automotive computer diagnostic scanning tools.
