According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment of chefs, head cooks, food preparation and serving supervisors is expected to increase by six percent over the 2008-2018 decade!
Culinary Arts program graduates can expect virtually endless employment opportunities. You may have careers in a variety of establishments and organizations, both nationwide and abroad, from well-known restaurants to casinos, resorts and cultural centers, as well as health care facilities, universities, sports arenas, airports and more. In Texas in particular, the National Restaurant Association projects a 17.3 percent employment growth or 172,900 jobs by 2021.
