If you're considering a career in the construction field, earning an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Construction Management from TSTC West Texas is a must. Not only will you learn construction techniques, technology, and theory, you will gain hands-on experience in various phases of the construction process and develop expertise in construction management.
In the Construction Management Technology Program, you'll explore every technical step of the construction process, from the first shovel full of dirt to the final certification of occupancy. You'll participate in classroom and lab projects that incorporate project planning (estimating costs and budgeting), development of blueprints, the physical construction of a structure, and the final building inspection. Construction tools, techniques, safety requirements, the mechanical elements of construction, framing, and building codes are all covered in classes and labs.
Our experienced instructors will engage you in problem-solving scenarios that may be encountered in the field.
