At the Breckenridge campus of TSTC West Texas, Environmental Science students experience learning in a spacious classroom with its own laboratory. The Lab is equipped for in-house experiments, as well as multiple field studies. These field studies include water sampling, environmental site assessments and working with the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department on the Threatened Species Watch.
But in the Environmental Science Technology program, we don't limit ourselves to the classroom. Our instructors have developed a top-notch curriculum with labs both indoors and outdoors. Hands-on field labs take place in Hubbard Creek Reservoir, Gonzales Creek, Big Bend State Park and at locations along the Gulf Coast, providing you with a spectrum of activities within several of Texas' geographical regions.
