The goal of the Food Service Technology program is to place the student in jobs that would be the best fit for them. One option would be industrial kitchens and cafeterias where food is prepared in several different ways from scratch to heat-and-serve. There are also corporate and/or chain restaurant line cook opportunities with advancement possibilities. Some students may want to take their basic knowledge to major markets and work under chefs with the opportunity to expand their knowledge. Upon completion, students should expect make between $9.00 and $14.00 per hour.
