Being employed by TSTC has its perks, like free health insurance. Yes, we said free. And for eligible dependents, the State pays half of their premiums.
TSTC offers two options for dental insurance. Each has different costs, benefits, and participating dentists.
Mind (and Peace of Mind)
Generous Vacation, Holidays, and Sick Leave
TSTC offers opporuntities to work hard and play hard! Regular, full-time employees start accruing 8 hours of vacation per month. This accrual rate increases over time to a maximum of 21 hours per month. And if that's not enough family or play time, TSTC is awarded state holidays that don't fall on weekends. For the unfortunate but inevitable time when you get sick, TSTC employees earn 8 hours of sick leave each month with unlimited accrual to be used for personal or family illness and medical appointments. A sick leave pool is also available for catastrophic illness or injury.
Employee Assistance Plan
We recognize that the pace of work life and family life seem to increase year-after-year. All of us, at some time, need a little help with children, finances, or just some practical advice on health or the mind-body connection. That’s why we’ve contracted with an Employee Assistance Provider to make sure these services are available to our team members and their dependents.
Basic life insurance is provided for employees and optional coverages are available to both the employee and their dependents.
Disability and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D)
TSTC employees may opt to enroll in disability insurance (short and long-term). AD&D coverage is also available for employees and their family members.
Other Specific Supplemental Coverages
Supplemental coverages for cancer, vision, and other medical-related costs are also available.
