Texas State Technical College (TSTC) Workforce Development can apply its accelerated training model to the diverse manufacturing industry. Workforce Development specializes in highly skilled manufacturing job training areas that are all part of industrial training Division. Our subject matter experts are highly skilled trainers with many decades of industry experience. With a track record of producing highly skilled technicians and experience providing advanced training to the workforce in partnership with a number of manufacturing companies, Texas State Technical College can provide the training you need to take the skill of your employees to the next level.

The course provides an understanding of PLC circuits, hardware and applications.

Course topics include:

  • PLC instructions.
  • Hardware.
  • Communication devices.
  • Troubleshooting navigation of PLC controllers software and components.

Upon successful completion of the PLC module trainees can demonstrate knowledge of the operation and programming of PLCs also demonstrate knowledge of the installation and troubleshooting of PLCs and communication devices.

PLC and Communication Devices accelerated training is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday, Jan. 22-Friday, Jan. 26, 2018, at TSTC's North Texas Campus in Red Oak.  The cost for the 40 hour training is  $1,400 per trainee.
