The goal of the Texas State Technical College (TSTC) Student Online Learning Orientation is to increase your awareness, readiness and self-confidence in taking online learning courses. You are required to take and complete the Student Online Learning Orientation (SOLO) if you:
Upon registration for the first TSTC online course, students will be required to concurrently enroll in the SOLO 0100.
To enroll in the SOLO, visit WebAdvisor and register for the SOLO 0100 course.
Once registered, the SOLO can be accessed from any computer with an internet connection. It is located on Moodle, TSTC’s learning management system, and can be accessed by clicking on the following link: https://mycourses.tstc.edu. If you are registered, it will show up as one of your courses. The orientation will provide you an introduction to online learning, provide you tips for success in online courses, and address technical requirements that you will encounter in TSTC online courses.
