New Student Orientation (NSO) is required for all incoming students. Student will learn about Texas State Technical College, classes and so much more. It is an opportunities to explore academics, campus live and being developing important relationships with faculty, staff, and students. There are also opportunities to have your questions answered.

What should I wear to Orientation?
Dress comfortably. Plan to wear casual clothes and comfortable shoes for walking around campus.

Do I need to register for classes before attending Orientation?
No, it is not required for a student to register for classes before attending Orientation. Students are encouraged to register for classes as soon as possible. Some programs may reach their max capacity early on. The earlier you register, the better the odds of getting the schedule you need or want.
