Texas State Technical College offers continuing education courses for the general public to help you hone your on-the-job skills or take “just for fun.” 

Our continuing education courses vary based on the economic need of the State and the local demand. Our course offerings support individuals in their ongoing education in demand occupations such as healthcare, renewable energy, public safety, real estate and manufacturing. 

Choices

Some of the healthcare courses available at TSTC are Emergency Medical Technology, Paramedic, Phlebotomy, and Pharmacy Technician.

Manufacturing courses available are in Welding and Green Building Construction.

Business courses include Basic Computers, Accounting, Leadership and Management. 

Whether you are looking to quickly gain skills to enter the workforce or looking to upgrade your skills to have that edge in your industry TSTC Continuing Education is the place for you.

If we don’t have a course for you, inquire about customizing a course for industry professionals either taught at your site or at one of our college campuses.  We offer courses in computers, business management, welding, and even language courses for your company.  Courses will vary by college.

TSTC understands there are certain priorities in life that may not allow for an individual to attend a full-time college program.   We offer numerous short courses online, during the evening and weekends to fit your busy schedule.  A number of our courses will be taught in our state-of-the-art labs equipped with industry approved equipment giving the student the opportunity to gain experience with the tools/gear used in the real-world.
