The Heavy Duty Diesel training program is designed to provide a hands-on training experience, aimed at putting technicians to work. The 240 hour course provides the student the necessary mechanical and electrical troubleshooting training skills required to meet industry’s need. Students have the opportunity to tear down and rebuild engines and use the latest troubleshooting computers on actual running trucks. Students learn about Diesel Shop Safety, Engine Tear Downs, Engine Mechanics, Preventative Maintenance/ Tune Ups, Diesel Engine Testing and Repair, Power Train, and Troubleshooting.
