ATI Test for Essential Academic Skills (TEAS)

The purpose of the ATI TEAS entrance exam is to assess your overall academic preparedness for a health science program.

The HESI Admission Assessment along with the HESI Critical Thinking Exam is used as required criteria for acceptance into the Surgical Technology program. It can help identify areas of improvement in academic readiness and learning and personality styles.

The HESI LPN-ADN entrance exam is a comprehensive exam for currently Licensed Practical and Vocational Nurses seeking entrance into the TSTC Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) program.

Academic Testing

Proctored Exams

Some distance education courses require students to take proctored exams. A proctored exam is supervised, just as it would be for any course taken on campus.

Accommodated Exams

Accommodated Exams are for enrolled students who need to take TSTC course exams at the Testing Center based on testing accommodations. Testing accommodations are in effect only after the student has completed the accommodations process through the Access and Learning Accommodations (ALA) Office.

TSI Assessment 2.0

The TSIA2 is the state-mandated placement assessment that Texas public institutions must use to determine a student’s college readiness.
