TSTC students come from more than 100 counties across the state. They arrive right out of high school, transfer from other colleges or from the workforce.

While we are proud that TSTC's education is affordable and a high return on your investment, we realize financial aid is the only option for some students.

At TSTC we understand your ultimate goal is a career you're passionate about and will make you the money you want to enjoy your life! Our goal is to help you be successful.

TSTC has been providing top-quality, career-driven education for Texans for close to 50 years. The college is nationally recognized for the number and quality of our technology graduates.

TSTC’s training can be flexible in accommodating your work schedule and family needs. You may be able to keep working and attend TSTC. Or, your financial aid counselor at TSTC may find that you qualify for the kind of grant that allows you to quit your job and focus intensively, getting you back into the workforce as quickly as possible.

TSTC tuition, at an average of $8,200 for a two-year degree, is more than 4x less than for-profit colleges hovering around $37,000 for two-year degrees.Be assured: TSTC will not try to “sell” you on obtaining more training than you need. Your training at TSTC is cost-effective because it is subsidized by the State Legislature. And the Legislature wants a skilled workforce in the field supporting Texas industries. Because TSTC is non-profit, we have no agenda to hold you here longer than is needed for your successful entrance into the career field of your choice.

As you review TSTC’s Admissions Checklist and your Sources of Financial Aid, don’t feel bogged down in the details. We understand that working adults or those with families need our assistance. Make an appointment with one of our counselors or financial aid professionals.
