The Metallica Scholars Initiative

Metallica’s foundation, All Within My Hands (AWMH), is a nonprofit, philanthropic organization created by the members and management of Metallica and is dedicated to creating sustainable communities by supporting workforce education, the fight against hunger, and other critical local services. AWMH funds the Metallica Scholars Initiative in partnership with the American Association of Community Colleges to provide direct support to those pursuing a technical education degree at various community colleges across the country, including TSTC in Sweetwater.

Scholarship Details

  • The Metallica Scholarship is available for new students in our Sweetwater campus enrolled in select programs.
  • Scholarships will be need-based and will be awarded until funds run out.
  • TSTC in Sweetwater will provide additional resources to Metallica Scholars, with assistance and support from the Advocacy & Resource Center.
  • Scholars will meet with a Workforce/Continuing Education advisor for enrollment and career assistance.

  • Automotive Technology
  • Diesel Equipment Technology
  • Welding Technology
  • Wind Energy Technology

Scholar Qualifications

  • Applicants will be considered if they are registered or are willing to register for an approved program.
