(WACO, Texas) – Texas State Technical College’s Culinary Arts program opens its student-operated restaurant for the spring semester on Wednesday, Feb. 16, on the Waco campus. This marks the first in-person dining the program has hosted in two years.

Culinary Arts students plan menus and serve patrons to receive academic credit and gain experience in the fine dining field. 

The restaurant is at the Greta W. Watson Culinary Arts Center on Campus Drive and is open to the public, with reservations required. No reservations will be taken on serving days.

Meals are served from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Wednesdays and Fridays from Feb. 16 to April 8. The serving days and menus, which are subject to change, are:

Feb. 16 and Feb. 18: Thailand

Feb. 23 and Feb. 25: France

March 2 and March 4: China

March 9 and March 11: Germany

March 16 and March 18: Italy

March 23 and March 25: India

March 30 and April 1: Poland

April 6 and April 8: Southern U.S.

Weekly menus will be posted on the Greta W. Watson Culinary Arts Center at TSTC Waco Facebook page.
