At TSTC, the MEI program combines mechanical, electrical and IT training into one integrated program, giving you more flexibility and more career options.

Core Curriculum Includes:

Mechanical Systems 48 hrs
Electrical Systems 80 hrs total
Motor Control Systems 40 hrs
Information Technology 14 hrs
Safety Certifications 18 hrs

Looking for an interesting job with plenty of growth opportunity? Ready for a career change or trying to figure out what’s next? Consider this pathway into one of the hottest industries in tech.

TSTC and Compass Datacenters teamed up to create the MEI Data Center Pathway Program, giving participants classroom education and hands-on experience learning about all of the equipment the drives this fast-growing, mission-critical industry.

Mechanical – Learn principals of HVAC, how to install and operate mechanical and motor control systems.
Electrical – Learn basic electrical theory, installation, commissioning, operation and trouble shooting.
Information Technology – Learn how to install, test and maintain fiber optic networks.

Classes are currently being held 12 weeks, from 6-10 p.m., Monday through Thursday. At program completion, participants will have the opportunity to meet with and explore job opportunities with some of the nation’s leading companies.
