(WACO, Texas) – Texas State Technical College’s Culinary Arts program in Waco opens its student-operated restaurant for the spring semester on Wednesday, Feb. 11.
The restaurant is at the Greta W. Watson Culinary Arts Center at the corner of 8th Street and Campus Drive. The restaurant is open to the public, but reservations are required. Meals will be served from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on select Wednesdays and Fridays during the semester.
The serving days and themes, which are subject to change, are:
— Feb. 11 and Feb. 13: Germany
— March 4 and March 6: Hawaii
— March 11 and March 13: India
— March 25 and March 27: Cajun
— April 1 and April 3: France
— April 8 and April 10: Southern
— April 15 and April 17: India
— April 22 and April 24: Live Action Buffet
Weekly menus will be posted on the TSTC in Waco Facebook page and online at tstc.edu/culinary-arts-menu.
To make a reservation, go to the Culinary Arts menu webpage and fill out the Google form. The form allows people to make reservations on their preferred days for eight people or less. People making reservations will be contacted by email once they are accepted. Changes will not be allowed to reservations the week of serving dates. If nine or more people plan to dine, the request needs to be sent to wacoculinary@tstc.edu.
