(WACO, Texas) – Texas State Technical College’s Culinary Arts program in Waco opens its student-operated restaurant for the summer semester on Wednesday, June 25.
The restaurant is at the Greta W. Watson Culinary Arts Center at the corner of 8th Street and Campus Drive. The restaurant is open to the public, but reservations are required. Meals will be served from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on select Wednesdays and Fridays during the semester.
The serving days and themes, which are subject to change, are:
— June 25 and June 27: Contemporary Diner
— July 9 and July 11: Texas Game
— July 16 and July 18: Irish
– July 23 and July 25: Kenyan
— July 30 and Aug. 1: Filipino
— Aug. 6 and Aug. 8: Spanish
— Aug. 13 and Aug. 15: Moroccan
Weekly menus will be posted on the TSTC in Waco Facebook page and online at tstc.edu/culinary-arts-menu.
Reservations can be made one week in advance of each dining date. Reservations need to be made for seating between 11 a.m. and noon. Standing reservations are not accepted. Reservations can be made by emailing wacoculinary@tstc.edu.
