Waco Culinary Arts Greta W. Watson Culinary Arts Center

(WACO, Texas) – Texas State Technical College’s Culinary and Hospitality Management program in Waco opens its student-operated restaurant for the summer semester on Wednesday, July 8.

The restaurant is at the Greta W. Watson Culinary Arts Center at the corner of 8th Street and Campus Drive. The restaurant is open to the public, but reservations are required. Meals will be served from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on select Wednesdays and Fridays during the semester. 

The serving days and themes, which are subject to change, are:

— July 8 and July 10: Lunch at the Ritz

— July 15 and July 17: Peruvian

— July 22 and July 24: Southern

— July 29 and July 31: Japanese

— Aug. 5 and Aug. 7: South of Sunday

— Aug. 12 and Aug. 14: Caribbean

Weekly menus will be posted on the TSTC in Waco Facebook page and online at tstc.edu/culinary-arts-menu.

To make a reservation, go to the Culinary Arts menu webpage and fill out the Google form. The form allows people to make reservations on their preferred days for eight people or less. People making reservations will be contacted by email once they are accepted. Changes will not be allowed to reservations the week of serving dates. If nine or more people plan to dine, the request needs to be sent to wacoculinary@tstc.edu.
