(HUTTO, Texas) – Texas State Technical College’s Williamson County campus set forth into the world more than 20 new graduates at its Summer 2025 Commencement held Friday, Aug. 29, at the Williamson County Expo Center in Taylor.

Among the graduates were several from the HVAC Technology program ready to ignite their careers.

“Our job is to put them where their talents will make them the most effective,” said Jayme Palady, an instructor in TSTC’s HVAC Technology program.

Von Bily, of Pflugerville, earned an associate degree in the program. He said he chose the career field because his cousin does similar work and makes a good living.

“I loved it at TSTC,” Bily said. “It’s a great school.”

Bily is a facilities technician at the Skybox PowerCampus Austin data center in Hutto.

Lucas Cazorla, of Georgetown, received the Provost’s Outstanding Achievement Award and a certificate of completion in HVAC Residential Service Technician. He was also a TSTC Board of Regents honor graduate.

“It (HVAC) is a growing industry in the area, and there is a lot of business here,” Cazorla said.

James Najera, of Round Rock, received a certificate of completion from the HVAC program. He said a high school culinary arts instructor and his mother were influences on his decision to attend TSTC.

“It’s been a long time coming,” Najera said of earning his certificate. “There have been some setbacks, but I passed through them.”

Najera is a boiler and chiller operator at the Texas Facilities Commission in Austin.
