Chemical dependency counselors help people who suffer from drug dependency break the cycle of substance use disorder. They have the critical job of guiding people toward a path of recovery. Program Details
In this program, you will learn to work with individuals and their families to treat substance use disorders. You will train on a variety of therapeutic techniques with patients in individual and group settings. You get the hands-on skills needed to become a practicing Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor Intern in these classes. You will learn from Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselors (LCDC) who have years of experience in the chemical dependency treatment field. Their experience will guide you and give you the training you need for a new career.
