(HUTTO, Texas) – Texas State Technical College’s Williamson County campus hosted its second Industry Job Fair on Thursday, March 26, connecting TSTC students and alumni with more than 20 major regional employers.

The event, held at the East Williamson County Higher Education Center, served as a vital pipeline for Central Texas’ booming tech and manufacturing sectors. Industry leaders in attendance included Applied Materials, Samsung Austin Semiconductor, Koenig & Bauer and Oracle, all seeking to fill high-demand roles in fields such as advanced manufacturing, cybersecurity and computer networking.

“We have hired 14 TSTC graduates so far, and some have been with us for seven years now and are among our top technicians,” said Ericka Luneau, director of human resources at Koenig & Bauer. “The students coming out of TSTC are very well prepared and motivated. They are truly helping us build our future generation of technicians.”

The job fair provided a platform for students to gain direct insight into current industry demands while showcasing the technical skills they acquired through TSTC’s hands-on curriculum.

“It is a great opportunity to talk to these partners and see what they have to offer,” said Aiden Ragsdale, an Advanced Manufacturing-Industrial Maintenance student. “The coolest thing about TSTC is that they really want you to get a job after you graduate and are so helpful in making that happen.”

Hunter Henry, TSTC’s employee relations manager, helped coordinate the industry partners and said he is thrilled students can make connections on their path to finding great-paying jobs.

“Our mission at TSTC is to ensure our students aren’t just earning a degree, but are stepping directly into high-demand careers that support the Texas economy,” Henry said. “Hosting industry leaders here in Williamson County allows us to bridge the gap between technical training and the real-world needs of our local partners.”

The job fair is part of a statewide effort to produce highly skilled, technically competent graduates. TSTC, which celebrated 60 years of service to the state in 2025, operates on a unique funding model based entirely on student employment outcomes. By maintaining these direct industry links, the Williamson County campus ensures its programs remain synchronized with the region’s evolving workforce needs.
