Hospitality

Hospitality programs focus on culinary arts, food safety, and restaurant operations management. Students develop skills in customer service, kitchen operations, and hospitality administration.

Hospitality is a big contributor to the Texas economy. More than 1.3 million people work in retail and hospitality fields in Texas, making the state the second-largest employer in the leisure and hospitality sector, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ 2018 data. In other words, Texas needs people in the hospitality industry. It’s a great place to get into the kitchen and into a career!
