Diagnose and repair

Automotive technicians apply troubleshooting skills to diagnose and repair vehicles on the job. They specialize in repairing vehicles that use advanced diagnostic computers. They interpret a vehicle’s diagnostic codes to assess errors and make a plan to proceed with the repairs. As a technician, you may even specialize in working on one or more car brands.
