Harness the wind
As a wind energy technician, you could work at turbine construction and manufacturing sites, in the distribution and generation industries, or at utility companies. Sites can include wind farms and power plant facilities, and range from small communities to large metropolitan areas. If you love to travel, then this could be the career choice for you. When you enter the wind energy industry, your options are sky-high.
At TSTC, your training includes conducting efficiency studies and managing personnel, materials and machines in factories, offices and production sites. You will also prepare machinery and equipment layouts, perform turbine construction and maintenance, and analyze production costs. Through our hands-on program, you’ll be qualified to operate and maintain the systems that make a wind turbine function.
