Program Details
This program is designed to provide you with the knowledge and hands-on skills needed to help companies create effective safety and environmental programs. As part of your training, you’ll learn current Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) regulations. Your knowledge will include the hazards of machines, safe work methods, first aid and CPR procedures, as well as environmental health site assessments and the treatment, remediation and disposal techniques of hazardous wastes. These skills and abilities will help you obtain employment as a safety and environmental compliance coordinator or director over production, manufacturing and construction job sites.
